60th Anniversary Events introduction
Last year (2018) marked the school’s 60th anniversary. As the perfect time for a grand reunion, an array of activities were held, gathering our alumni, former and current teachers and students. Apart from the Homecoming and Thanksgiving ceremony on Founders’ Day, the Diamond Jubilee Dinner brought over 700 old boys and girls together, to commemorate the school’s big day.
We took advantage of this excellent opportunity and invited members from the Methodist Church and its schools, to connect with us and join our big celebration. Our staff, teachers, students and parents of the Methodist Church family enjoyed the 60th-anniversary film ‘Love Eternity’, which captured the vibrancy of the present and the rich history of the past of our college. In addition, families and friends who joined our Sports and Family Fun Day gave their greatest support. We had further stretched our hands and invited other primary school students and parents to the Open Day, which celebrated our students’ work and talents.
Out of this fruitful and splendid year, we have selected the logo and theme song competitions, our film show ‘Love Eternity’ and the sale of the school hoodie as the highlighted events that we would like to share with you in detail.
