In the blink of an eye, I have spent six years learning and growing at Methodist College. I can still vividly remember my first day of school, walking up the slope with a mix of nervousness and excitement for the unknown. In a flash, I walked down that same slope, carrying a treasure trove of love and precious memories created along the way. No words can truly express how grateful I am to be part of this incredible family.

Throughout my DSE journey, the support I received from my friends and teachers was undoubtedly indispensable. We spent countless hours immersed in a sea of knowledge, conducting experiments in the laboratory, tackling piles of tests and papers in the self-study room, and delving into the DSE marking schemes, to name but a few. Managing these tasks was undeniably demanding and, at times, distressing. However, navigating these challenges alongside my classmates and teachers made everything more manageable. Moreover, my teachers went above and beyond to guide us through this tough journey. Not only did they provide detailed feedback on my work, but they also dedicated time to conducting supplementary lessons outside of school hours. Beyond academics, they cared deeply about our mental well-being, offering support and encouragement whenever needed. I genuinely could not have made it through this journey without their unwavering help and support.

In addition to academic support, our principal and teachers devoted numerous resources to fostering our whole-person development. I am deeply thankful for all the opportunities I was given, which enabled me to push my boundaries and build my self-confidence. I cherish all the experiences in various leadership roles, like Chief Editor and Vice President of the Students’ Union. Taking part in the international blockchain competition in Amsterdam was another golden opportunity that equipped me to become a leader in the new era. These invaluable experiences not only enhanced my personal growth, but also allowed me to forge closer bonds and connections with others.

Time flies, but memories never fade. Never will I forget these remarkable moments spent at Methodist College, a place filled with laughter and care. As I prepare to embark on a new journey, I will carry with me all the lessons learned and the love and warmth that enveloped me here. I will be forever grateful for all that Methodist College has given me.
