Searching for my ideal university, having a glimpse into my life for the next four years, I can't yet accept the fact that I am a graduate of my beloved Methodist College.
Throughout these six years, I have acquired countless knowledge at the College. Academically, teachers have tried their utmost to prepare for us excellent lessons and supplementary notes filled with useful reminders and skills. They teach with passion and compassion, answering our easy, if not repeated, questions even at midnight. Hence, I could go through the DSE exams with full preparation and support from our dearest teachers, whom I can now call friends.
The school has also provided me with plentiful opportunities outside the classroom. I was honoured to have been a member of the Students’ Union, helping to launch the 60th Anniversary’s Hoodies Sale, the Lunar New Year Fair and several shows and activities at school. These experiences have equipped me with valuable soft skills, which often cannot be learnt from books. With such ambience, it is instinctual for us to be brimming with leadership, creativity and social skills — which earn us the title of being an all-rounder.
All in all, every part, every aspect of Methodist College has been indelibly imprinted in my heart when going to school has already become a rare sight to me now.
Hope that all of you can rejoice and treasure every moment you have at school.
