- In reminiscence of the six youthful years I have walked through in Methodist College, I’d declare its existence as more than that of a college or a campus, it’s more like a family.
Academically, the school follows the principle of nurturing leaders of the new era and brushes up our academic capability in all endeavours. Teachers never stopped advising us on studying tips and passed onto us a sea of knowledge, as though they were our study partners. Apart from being responsive to our questions, they also taught us life mottos and were fair and impartial listeners of exhausted students. Projects and field trips were designed as an exuberant part of standard learning, provoking interest in the subjects and to discover our passions. For instance, our Chinese History teacher organized a field trip to Dunhuang in China and explored Silk Road with us, leaving behind a remarkable memory and encouraging fun in learning.
All in all, this place is a home, with educators, as well as parents, who give decent care to each individual and encourage us to unveil our strengths, so that we learn to fight against hurdles and challenges in the battlegrounds and grow into strong gladiators against every single struggle in the life awaiting us. At last, as we turn over a new leaf in our life, we won’t forget to look back with a grateful heart to our beloved alma mater—Methodist College.
