Looking back at the incredibly fruitful six years I have spent in Methodist College, words cannot adequately express the immense gratitude I feel toward the school. I will forever cherish the invaluable memories I have forged in our alma mater.

Methodist College has always held an exceptionally special place in my heart. It has served as a nurturing ground for me to transform from a curious child into a well-rounded adult. Not only did the school provide me with profound wisdom, but it also equipped me with essential skills for thriving in society. It entrusted me with significant roles such as the chairperson of both the Science Society and the class association, as well as prefect, through which I learned invaluable leadership skills and effective communication strategies. Moreover, the school provided me with abundant opportunities to participate in various competitions and courses, which greatly broadened my horizons and fostered a strong sense of teamwork.

The school placed a strong emphasis on school life, creating an unforgettable journey over the course of six years. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 restrictions, the school made unwavering efforts to ensure that both my fellow schoolmates and I could still bond with each other through engaging activities like Sports Fun Day. Sports Day has consistently been an event I eagerly anticipate each year, as it is the only occasion when we can come together as a form, joyfully chanting and cheering for one another. These remarkable events have allowed me to forge deep and lasting friendships with my dearest companions.

Regarding academics, the guidance provided by the teachers has been instrumental in my success during the DSE period. The teachers wholeheartedly dedicated themselves to ensuring that I was fully prepared for the demanding DSE examinations. They organized additional mock practices and supplementary lessons, leaving no stone unturned to assist us in excelling in the public examination. I still fondly recall seeking guidance from teachers late at night, even beyond their working hours, and being met with prompt and detailed responses. I also remember submitting my work to them during study leave, only to receive it back with thorough and insightful comments. Thanks to their unwavering commitment to teaching, I was able to achieve my academic goals.

Methodist College is more than just a school to me; it is a second home that has allowed me to find wonderful individuals with whom I can play, rely on, and trust. It has played a pivotal role in helping me discover my purpose and set meaningful goals. For all these reasons and more, I am eternally grateful to Methodist College
