Congratulations to Ethan Hui of 4B who received the First Class Award (Global Division) and the First Runner Up (Hong Kong Secondary School Division) in the Code Combat Global Code Quest 2020. Many thanks to his coach and ICT teacher, Mr. Siu and Mr. Ching, respectively.

“This competition was a challenge for me since it was my first time to join an international computer coding competition. But the whole process was fun, exciting and rewarding.

In the game, each competitor formed his or her own team, which consisted of 9 soldiers. We needed to choose the soldier's type and code their action so as to compete against other teams. Not only did I enhance my problem-solving skills, I also learnt a lot from others’ strategies and broadened my horizons.

Although the atmosphere was intense, as there were about 1500 players, I did my utmost to perfect my code.

I’d like to take this opportunity to express my greatest gratitude and appreciation to my family for their continuous support, Mr. Siu and the school for recommending me to join the competition and Mr. Ching for teaching me computer knowledge.”
